The Skagit Valley YMCA Tritons Swim Team is a year-round club for youth ages 8-21 that is based at the Skagit Valley Family YMCA. Since 1986, the team has competed and produced multiple national level swimmers, and frequently compete at the YMCA National Championships. The current team has over 60 swimmers from across Skagit County.
The mission of the SVY Tritons is to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment that provides participants the opportunity to have fun while growing as competitive swimmers and healthy leaders both in and out of the pool.
Financial donations help the team:
- Provide team financial assistance (help families in need pay for swim team dues)
- Provide college scholarships (help graduating seniors with college expenses)
- Purchase equipment (equipment used by the team, including fins, swim bungees, etc.)
- Offset swim meet travel costs (covering cost of plane tickets, hotel, food, etc. for swimmers)
