Mark Pearson is a retired Mount Vernon High School English teacher who now spends his time fixing up, cleaning, and repurposing bicycles for youth and adults in need within the greater Skagit community. Mark has donated dozens of bikes to numerous agencies in our community, including the Oasis Teen Shelter, Northwest Youth Services, Children of the Valley, First Step Housing, Men's and Women's Friendship House, and others. In the first half of 2023, he's already donated 75 bikes back to the community.

Mark receives some funding to help cover bike parts and transportation fees, but additional support goes a long way in helping him continue to repair bicycles and get them safe to ride. Your support is greatly appreciated, both by Mark and those who receive the bikes he works on!

If you have questions or have any bikes you'd like to donate, please send Mark an email at mpearson14@frontier.com.
