Camp Anderson Alumni Gathering: Campfire Around America

The Skagit Valley Family YMCA is proud to be part of Campfire Across America, a nationwide YMCA moment bringing communities together coast to coast. On July 22 from 6:00-8:00pm at Camp Anderson, we’ll host our own campfire at Camp Anderson, celebrating the magical connection that happens when the stars are out, the fire is lit, and people gather with intention.

We will be hosting a Camp Anderson Alumni Reunion Campfire! This will be an evening of

• Campfire Songs
• Storytelling
• S’mores
• Reconnecting under the stars

This gathering is meant to recreate the collaborative spirit of traditional campfire culture, where everyone helps shape the experience. Guests are encouraged to share their favorite camp memories, lead beloved camp songs, bring musical instruments, and help create a nostalgic evening filled with laughter, music, and connection. Please feel free to bring a camping chair for seating around the fire.

If attending, please meet at the Conway School (19710 State Route 534, Mount Vernon, WA 98274). Because parking at Camp Anderson is limited, Y staff will shuttle attendees to and from Conway School (~5 minute drive).
