Celebration of the Skagit Y 2026: Backyard BBQ!

Join us on Thursday, July 16 from 4:30 - 7:00pm as we celebrate the Skagit Y members, donors, staff, and community partners who help make our community thrive. Plus, we’ll also share exciting updates on the Sedro-Woolley Rec Center and how we’re remodeling the space to better serve Skagit Youth.

Please RSVP so that we have a headcount for food. We can't wait to see you for this fun summer party!

During the festivities, you can:

• Enjoy free food and refreshments provided by Avenue Catering, or get some Kona Ice to cool off!
• Play fun lawn games like cornhole, spikeball, Gagaball, four square, and ladder ball
• Listen to a short presentation from Y staff and board members, with highlights from 2025/26, member/donor/staff recognition, and exciting updates on the Sedro-Woolley Rec Center remodel project
• Mingle with Skagit Y staff and hear what we're up to
• Get exclusive access to the pool after the event from 7:00-8:30pm (as capacity allows)
• Enjoy an evening spent in community with fellow Skagitonians!

As part of the event, we'll be doing a Pie in the Face and Dunk Tank Fundraiser to raise money for the programs and services the Skagit Y offers the community. Dunk or pie your friends/family members for a small fee ($5/pie and $5 for three dunk tank throws) and/or make a $10 donation "vote" towards one of our VIP Staff and Board Members who have bravely volunteered to get dunked take a pie to the face. Below are the nine staff/board members who you can vote for with a donation - select your vote(s) of choice during checkout. A Y staff member will pie + dunk the top 3 vote getters!
